Parts We Carry
When a door jumps track in Keller, the damage is almost always at the bottom roller bracket or the first few feet of vertical track, not the whole rail.
Roller stem lengths stocked
We carry steel rollers in both 2-inch and 3-inch stem lengths, replacement track sections in 1-inch and 2-inch rail widths, bottom brackets, and the nylon rollers that started showing up in garages built toward the late 1990s and 2000s.
Mixed roller-era stock
Keller's housing stock runs 1959 through 2014 with a median build year of 1999, so we see a mix of older steel-roller setups on torsion hardware and newer nylon-roller doors from the early 2000s subdivisions.
Odd-width track orders
We stock both because guessing wrong means a second trip. What we don't carry on the truck is custom track for odd-width openings - those get special-ordered, and we'll tell you that on the spot instead of promising a same-visit fix we can't deliver.

How Long It Takes
A door off track from a snapped cable or a bent roller bracket is usually a one-visit repair once we're on site - realigning track, swapping the bent section, and replacing the roller that caused it. What we won't do is quote a response window for Keller specifically. We run out of Grapevine, about 9 miles away, and the drive time depends on which part of town you're in and what the roads are doing that day. We'd rather tell you that straight than make up a number. Call ahead and we'll give you a realistic window for your specific address before anyone drives out.
Why This Fails Locally
Keller's median household income sits at $172,654, well above the wider service area's $145,297, and that shows up in the garage doors themselves - more double-wide doors, more insulated steel panels, more openers with heavier lift than a builder-grade single door needs. A heavier door run on rollers sized for a lighter one is the single most common cause of off-track calls we see from this side of town. Add in a build year centered on 1999, which means a lot of these doors are now old enough that the original rollers have worn oval instead of round, and you get a door that rides fine for years and then jumps the track the first time a cable stretches or a spring loses tension unevenly. It's not bad luck. It's a roller that's been wearing down since the Clinton administration finally giving out.
What the Fix Involves
First we check whether the track itself is bent or just knocked out of alignment - those are two different repairs and only one of them needs new material.
Creased track replaced
If the vertical track near the bottom bracket is creased, that section gets replaced; bending it back almost never holds. Next we check the rollers that run in it.
Plumb track and pitch
Worn or oval rollers get swapped regardless of whether they caused this particular jump, because they'll cause the next one. Then we re-set the track plumb against the jamb and check horizontal track pitch, since a door can run off-level track for months before it finally jumps.
Spring behind derailment
Last, we check the cable and spring tension that likely started the whole thing - an off-track door is often a symptom of a spring problem, not just a track problem, and fixing the track without checking the spring means you're back here in a few weeks.
How to Book
If your door has jumped track or is riding crooked in the rail, call and describe what you're seeing - whether it's stuck open, stuck shut, or still moving but grinding. That tells us what to load on the truck before we make the 9-mile drive from Grapevine. For general service in Keller beyond this repair, see our Keller service page. If you're in Grapevine itself and want more detail on how we handle off-track calls there, that's covered on our Grapevine off-track repair page.
